But before Real Growth Academy, Danielle spent ten years working for successful real estate companies in residential sales and commercial asset management, acquisitions, and leasing of high end lifestyle shopping centers.

Christian on the other hand spent ten years managing capital and process improvement projects with manufacturing companies in the food & beverage and biotechnology sectors. They were both deep in the rat race and unhappy about it.

The two have pursued financial freedom together since the day they met, buying their first property together in 2018. By the time they got married three years later, they had purchased eight small multifamily properties together and focused all of their time and energy on building passive income.

Recognizing large multifamily properties as the faster path to their dreams of world travel, they began partnering with other active and passive investors to buy apartment complexes and the amount of units they owned quickly passed the 500 mark.

Everything changed for the two when Danielle lost her job as a result of the struggling retail real estate market. The two had been preparing for such an event since they started their investment journey though; they had been living below their means for years and diligently investing their savings so that by the time Danielle became unemployed, they had already replaced her income.
